Little Foodies is much more than a label, it's the peace of mind that comes with knowing they'll eat healthy and finish everything.
Lloret Turisme, in collaboration with the Alícia Foundation, has certified the destination's restaurants that meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability and health for the youngest members of the family.
Healthy, sustainable and good.
A healthy diet is one that takes into account all aspects of what we eat in order to promote and improve our health and ensure optimal functioning of the organism, i.e. to guarantee adequate growth and development at any age and physiological state throughout life.
Food cannot be considered if it is not sustainable, it must be conscious of the food as well as the people and environment that produce it to consider the impact that what we eat has on the society in which we live. Therefore, sustainable food must include the relationship with the environment, the economy and society, as well as being able to be implemented on a day-to-day basis.
Good food should primarily meet the expectations and organoleptic needs of the diner, depending on the environment in which the meal is eaten. The taste perception of the subject must correspond to a sensory balance, i.e. the sensations obtained from the senses (hearing, touch, sight, taste and smell) must match or even exceed expectations.
If you see a restaurant with the Little Foodies label, don't hesitate, come in and enjoy your meal!
